How we change the world
A Poem
This week I have been reflecting deeply on compassion and lovingkindness practices and why they are so important right now. It brought to mind this poem from Where Love Lingers.
one day we will look back
and think in awe.
what changed the world
was not rule or order,
money or power,
fight or faith.
it was a simple act of kindness
wrapped in unrelenting love.
May we all remember we are capable of simple acts of kindness, and this in fact can change the world.
